It’s vegetarian, but can easily be turned into a bone broth for meat-eaters by adding a whole chicken and simmering for several hours. I sip this soup morning, noon, and night!\n3-4 inches burdock root1 onion2 carrots1 bunch parsley4 stalks celery6 shiitake mushrooms1 stick astragalus root2 zucchini6 stalks kale2 cloves garlic\n\n1\/8 inch of fresh Turmeric rootRed pepper flakes to tasteSugar-free vegetable broth or bouillonOptional: lentilsChop and prep all veggiesOn a low heat, sauté onions, mushrooms, red pepper flakes, and garlic until golden. Add all other veggies, water, and broth and simmer for 1 hour.
